- TMJ pain – Dr. Cameron Lyons, PT is an expert in the treatment of Tempormandibular disorders. He has had extensive training over many years and can work with your Dentist as needed to reduce or eliminate your pain and restore normal function.
- Stress related pain – Sometimes our patients do not know how their pain started. We realize that there is not always a physical injury that initiates a pain cycle. It can be frustrating and confusing because there is no physical injury to report and imaging is normal, yet the pain is very real! We understand that stress, high emotional states, PTSD, anxiety, etc. create "PHYSICAL" feelings that we can help alleviate with our advanced understanding of how your brain sub-consciously directs your body to create muscular tension, which leads to a vicious cycle of pain that may have been present for weeks months or even years! If you are interested in seeking out treatment for this condition, please call our office at 303-926-1444 and set up an appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Agnew, PT or Ernie Quinlisk, PT.

- Trigger point Dry Needling – Dry needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. Dry needling (DN) is a technique used to treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissue, and, diminish persistent peripheral nociceptive (pain) input, and reduce or restore impairments of body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation. We use dry needling with the goal of releasing or deactivating trigger points to relieve pain and/or improve range of motion. Please ask your PT if he or she believes this treatment should be a part of your treatment plan
